What do I do if I have booked the wrong site?

Please call us on 01206 911035 to get your booking transferred to the correct site. All subject to availability. Do not rebook for the other site.

Must I complete a waiver and how long are they valid for?

Yes. Everyone who jumps and/or climbs is required to complete a waiver. Under 16s must have their parent or legal guardian complete their waiver. Permission by phone or email is not enough. These will then be kept on file for future visits.

Waivers are valid for 1 year from the time of signing.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

Jump Street have a “No Refund” policy across all departments.

Climbers with incorrect footwear or who are late for their safety briefing are not entitled to a refund.

What are the age and weight restrictions?

Jumping:

  • Minimum age is 4 years old
  • Maximum weight limit is 17.5 stone
  • Minimum age to enter park unattended is 12 years old

Tots and Siblings:

  • Maximum age is 5 years old
  • Siblings must be 12 years or under and accompanied by a tot under 5

Climbing:

  • Minimum age is 4 years old
  • Maximum weight limit is 20 stone
  • Minimum age to enter park unattended is 12 years old

Why do I need to wear Jump Street non-slip socks?

Non-slip Jump Street socks have been designed to increase grip on the trampolines, to reduce the risk of injury especially on our wall trampolines. Additionally, these socks are designed to reduce the chances of transferable foot infections and increase the comfort of all jumpers (by reducing friction).

These socks form an important part of our risk assessment and further reduce risks.

The socks cost just £1.95 and are yours to keep and reuse.

We’ll swap non-slip socks brought at any other trampoline park for Jump Street regulation socks for free.

Is there a safety briefing and how far in advance do I need to arrive?

Yes, everyone must attend an induction and health & safety briefing prior to entering the park. All jumpers must arrive 30 minutes in advance of their session to allow time for check in and briefing. Climbers must arrive 30 minutes in advance of their session to receive their safety briefings. Anyone arriving after the safety briefing has commenced will unfortunately lose their space in that session.

Can I change online and party bookings?

Yes, subject to availability.

Party bookings can be amended up to 7 days before the party, subject to availability.

Are parents required to attend children’s parties?

The parent(s)/guardian(s) of the party child are required to stay on site throughout the party. The party guests’ parents are welcome to stay if they wish.

Do I need to book in advance?

No, but we do recommend booking in advance to ensure we have availability for your time to jump. Weekends and holidays usually sell out in advance and walk-ins cannot be accommodated if we are sold out. From 1st December 2018 booking online will ensure you pay the normal entry price. Any walk-ins will incur an additional £2 charge.

Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express.

I don’t have a credit/debit card. Can I pay when I get there?

Online bookings must be paid for at the time of booking. If you are unable to do this you can pay at reception upon arrival, but please be aware we cannot guarantee spaces will be available and you may have a long wait for the next session. You will also be subject to the £2 walk-in charge if paying on the day.

Do you offer group discounts, corporate events and private hire?

Yes, for groups of 10 or more, a discount applies.

Is there an admission fee for people who are not jumping?

No, spectators can come in for free.

Spectators are welcome to take photos with no flash at either of our parks.

Do you offer a carer’s discount?

Yes, we support carers who come along to either Jump Street Chelmsford or Colchester by offering their session completely free of charge when a valid carer I.D. is presented. However, they will require to purchase the Jump Street socks for £1.95.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Chelmsford

We have a Stannah inclined platform lift that provides access from the car park to the main entrance area, but please note that this does not facilitate electric wheelchairs. There is also an interior lift that provides access to the park, café and disabled toilet. This facility has had an independent disabled access survey completed and is fully compliant with all current regulations.

Colchester

There is wheelchair access into the building at Jump Street Colchester but please note there is no access to a hoist to partake in bouncing. There is a lift to the café and party rooms on the first floor. We have 2 disabled car park spaces and a disabled toilet facility on the ground floor.

Is there parking?

There is ample parking at both Jump Street parks for cars as well as a cycle park area. Colchester has 2 disabled parking spaces and Chelmsford has 4 disabled parking spaces.

Can I bring my own food?

Due to our food health & safety policy, no self-catering is allowed. We do not allow outside food or beverages in our café. However, if you have booked a birthday party with us, you may bring in cake to consume in the designated party room.

Do you have lockers?

Jump Street has several free lockers available for valuables, phones etc. These are offered on a first come, first served basis. Your property is left in these lockers entirely at your own risk. These lockers have a 4-digit code and the instructions can be found on the inside of the door.

How long do you keep lost property?

We keep all lost property, both valuable and non-valuable, for a period of 3 months after which time we donate the items to a local charity shop.

Any credit/debit cards that are found will be destroyed immediately in line with our security procedures.

What should I wear for Jump Street activities?

Jumping:

Wear comfortable clothes such as shorts, tracksuits and t-shirts. No sharp objects such as belt buckles or clothing studs are allowed on trampolines. All jumpers must wear Jump Street non-slip trampoline socks while jumping. No jewellery or hats are permitted while jumping. Glasses can be worn on the trampolines.

Climbing:

Climbers must wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. Unfortunately customers with the wrong footwear will be prohibited from climbing. Comfortable cool clothing is advisable but with no loose items, and long hair must be tied back.

Kendrick’s Kingdom:

Customers to Kendrick’s Kingdom are required to wear non-grip socks at all times, children with bare feet are prohibited.
